The Colour Experts

Hi Guys!

Who's heard of this brand then? I certainly hadn't. So I can't tell you how long its been around. I found the counter in B&M (which imediately made me wonder if it would be any good).
They whole range was super cheap, and they had every makeup product you could think of.  I was drawn to the lipsticks and the liquid eyeliners. The lipsticks as you can see in the picture below looks very similar to the makeup revolution ones. But as far as I know their not in conjunction.
Anyway I ended up buying 2 lipsticks in 'naked dreams' and 'naked stripped'.Both colours are completely gorgeous!
I have worn both colours to work as they are both lovely day time colours, and I wore them without any lipliner underneath. And to my suprise they lasted really well. On application they went on really smoothly and felt creamy. They actually felt really moisturising and didn't dry my lips out at all. These are a completel bargain at just £1.00. I would definitely purchase more of these.
Naked Stripped
Naked Dreams

The eyeliner I got was a waterproof liquid liner. When I went to apply this for the first time I noticed that the nib went to a super fine point and was fairly flexible. And to my suprise it was lovely to apply. It's a really dark black too which also is great becuase I've had cheap eyeliners in the past and they have just seemed watery and in need of 2 layers, but not this one!
This liner was also just £1.00.

Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara Review!

Hi Guys

So who's tried this new mascara? After reading the bottle I was like 'Ooh I need to try this!' The reason for this is because it has argan oil in it. And we all know how nice products with argan oil in are.
I read up about it and it says that lashes will feel conditioned, soft and flexible, with zero clumps and a feather-light volume. I'm not entirely sure what a feather light volume is or means. I'm guessing it's just their way if saying great volume haha.
It has an ultra flex brush with soft britles (which are plastic not synthetic), which hugs the lashes defining them from root to tip.
It also says what result you should experience with this mascara and that is that all lashes revealed full, perfectly smooth, clump free volume. The price for this is £7.99.
The mascara also says it's extreme black buy I never found it to be any darker than other normal black Mascaras. The only other negative for for this mascara is that it has a really strong chemical smell to it. Which I know doesn't necessarily effect the look but still a little off putting.

I just applied one coat, my lashes did look smooth and not clumpy, (which is what I look for in a mascara) but to my surprise it didn't seem to give me as much lift, length and volume as some of my other mascaras. I normally find plastic wands to be really good on my lashes. I've stopped using synthetic brushes because of this. I also put this on my lower lashes which is always a good test for me as I find a lot transfer but this one wasn't too bad on that so that's a bonus. The only other thing I'm not sure about with this mascara was the conditioned lashes because of the argan oil. I haven't felt like it has actually done anything unfortunately.

All in all it's not a massively bad mascara, but not sure I would necessarily re-purchase it. I give it 6/10.

Where have I been??

Hey Guys!

Soooo, as you may have seen, I've been completely poop at blogging! I can't even tell you that it's because I've been super busy doing lots of exciting things, because I haven't!
I've just been working away with my day job, and sometimes when I'm finished for the day, I just want to sit and chill out.

Blogging is definitely a full time hobbie, but I am determined this time to get my butt in gear a keep up with regular blog posts. I am going to aim to blog at least twice a week, but it could be more!

What else have I to tell you..... Ooh I went on holiday recently. Well I say recently it was 4 weeks ago already! Why does that always happen? Feels like I haven't been away. But it was so lovely when I was there. Hot sun, beach and cocktails. What more do you need! I went to Costa Brava with my other half, mum and dad, and it was just what I needed.
How lovely does it look! I wish I was there now!
There was an absolutely fab cocktail shack just down the road from the hotel, and all the cocktails were just amazing!
Can't beat a 'Sex on the Beach' hey! Haha

So yes, just wanted to finally check back in and let you all know what's going on!

ELF Makeup Mist & Set

Hi Guys

I've found Setting sprays have been seen every where recently on youtube. So of course I needed to start trying them out. So far I've only tried this one from ELF but I have heard the NYX one is really nice but everytime I go to buy one it's sold out. Which must be telling me it's good right?

Anyway back to the ELF setting spray. This one contains Aloe, Green Tea, Cucumber and vitamins A, C & E and has very little fragrance to it. It costs £3.95 and you get 60mls which is a good size. Having never used a setting spray before I wasn't sure whether it really was making my makeup last longer. But on the days when I haven't used It think I can defintely notice a difference.

Something which I've also seen setting sprays used for is eyeshadows. It can make shimmery eyeshadows even more shimmery and brighter which can give a really nice effect on the eye lid so I use this for that too. It's also really nice just to mist over your face in the hot weather to cool you down.

Any other setting sprays you guys can recommend then please leave me a comment below.

Liquid Liners

Hi Guys

I'm going to be reviewing the liquid liners I have or currently are still using.
Liquid liners to me are my favourite type of liner over pencils and gels. My eyes are fairly hooded so I find a liner that dries is best as pencils and gels tend to always transfer up on to my eye.

The two liners I'm loving and using most days at the moment are both Loreal liners.
First one is the Super Liner Perfect Slim. Which has a fine feltip nib, that is firm but not solid. This one is lovely and really easy for making a really thin line across the lid. And because the nib goes to such a point it's really good for winging out and getting that really crisp flick. It feels really nice to hold too. This one costs £6.99 from Superdrug.

The next one is the Super Liner Black Laquer. This has a similar nib although it is a lot softer and has more movement. Also the point is not such a sharp point as the one above but you can still get a nice flick with it. I have to say this is definitely one of the blackest liners I've ever used. You do need to make sure you give this one a shake and you can hear a little ball clicking as you do this inside. This one costs £6.49 from Superdrug.

Two other liners I've tried and I think are very similar to each other are the Collection Fast Stroke and the ELF Liquid Liner. Both of these liners have a sharp point for the nib which is great, and both are very hard nibs. There's only one slight difference between these two liners and that is that the ELF one is slightly less opaque. But as long as you give it 2 coats it's fine. The Collection liner costs £2.99 and the ELF one is £3.95.

The longevity of all the liners mentioned are really good. If anything the collection one will crumble but not until right at the end of the day. And to be honest that's when I have rubbed my tired little eyes haha. But by far the Loreal ones are my faves!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Hi Guys

Time for a mascara review. Not done one of these for a while. And obviously you read the title and know which one I'm talking about. But Incase your not sure what it looks like I will add in a picture here :-).
On the front of this mascara it says 'Grow lash complex + fibres'. So seeing this I though ahh fab my lashes will be super duper long and luscious because of this fibre technique. However on application I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong it did make my lashes a nice length although (without bragging) i do find my lashes to be quite good with most mascaras. And this one didn't seem to be doing anything extra for me. I've never had a fibres mascara before, but I have looked at them and thought about buying one, because you can normally see the little fibres on the wand. But on closer inspection with this wand, it just looks like any other mascara to me. You can't see any fibres, which made me doubt the whole fibre technology thing.
As a normal mascara it's fine. Like I say it does add length and volume to my lashes, but I have found it doesn't give me anything extra than other mascaras without fibres do. This one cost me £7.99 from Boots.

I'm definitely not saying I wouldn't re-purchase it because I would, but if there were other new ones out to try I would probably try them first.

W7 Dupes

Hi Guys

Currently sitting writing this blog whilst listening to the rain bucketing down thinking "I've got to go out in that shortly!" Ergh! Never mind.

Right, so W7 makeup! The more I have really looked at some the items the more I've realised how many dupes for High end makeup they do. I have bought a couple of them to see what there like, and I have to say especially with eye shadows, if you use a good eyelid primer they last really well. And in actual fact have good pigmentation.
The main palette I'm talking about here is what w7 call 'In The Nude' which is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3. I had been toying with the idea of buying the naked 3, although I wasn't sure the colour range would suit me as it's very pink toned and to be honest I don't really use many pinky colours on my eyes. So I decided this would be brilliant as it was a lot cheaper than the naked 3 and if I didn't like the colours I wasn't wasting £40. So here's what the w7 one looks like.
As you can see it's got the same tin style casing which is similar colour, and then the eyeshadows which again are all very similar. The one big difference is that this one doesn't have a morrow on the lid like other naked palettes do. It cost me £6.99 and for the price I think it's a really good dupe if your not wanting to spend £40 or like me not sure if the colours would suit you.

The next w7 item I picked up recently is the Honolulu bronzing powder which is a dupe for the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. It's packaging is very similar, comes in the box form and with a little brush (which I have to say I'm loving using for contouring).
Here's what the w7 bronzer looks like.
This cost me just £2.99. I haven't actually tried the Benefit Hoola bronzer, only swatched it, but I have to say this is in my eyes a good bronzer. Especially for contouring because it has no shimmer in it at all. I'm normally one that loves my Sleek contour kit and the colour, powder texture and longevity is exactly the same. I know with some cheaper bronzes I've had before can be very orangey but this one definitely isn't. The little brush you get with it is really soft and the shape is perfect for carving out your cheek bones on going down the side of your nose.

This bronzer and palette is definitely good for anyone who is maybe starting out in makeup and doesn't want to spend too much money on products whilst practicing or if your like me and just love a bargain product that works!

After trying out these 2 w7 products I will definitely be trying more. I know they do the dupe for the naked 2, and I've seen that they also do dupes for the Benefit Rocketeur and Coralista blushers which I will be trying. (Have a slight obsession with blushers). And why not at these prices!

Brush Egg

Hi Guys

If you follow my youtube channel then you may have watched the video I did on cleaning my makeup brushes.
I bought the brush egg from IMATS. For a long time if have been looking for something to use to help making cleaning my brushes quicker and easier. I had thought about purchasing the sigma brush cleaning glove but that's £39.99 and I just couldn't justify spending that much on something that just looks like a silicone oven glove. Haha. I was convinced I would be able to find something that does the same job but was cheaper. And I did.
This little beauty cost me just £6 and I think to buy them normally they are only £8 which is still a fab price.
It is, as the name suggests in the shape of an egg. Although one side is flat with ridges on. They came in several different colours and I got the mint green as I love all pastels at the moment.nthe material is also silicone so is easy to keep clean between uses.
It has definitely made what sometimes can be a mundane job a little more enjoyable because of how quick it makes the process.
All I do is squirt a little bit of baby shampoo on the egg, dampen my brush and swirl it around in circular motions. You can see all the product coming out quickly, then you can just rinse the brush under the tap to remove the soap and your done.

I have to say I do love seeing all my clean brushes laid out drying. It just feels so satisfying don't you think? Or is that just me? Haha.

Ben Nye Banana Powder

Hi Guys

I have been noticing this powder on a lot of videos on youtube for quite a while, so naturally whilst I was at IMATS this year I had to buy it and try it out.
I bought the large pot which cost me £14.00 and it normally costs £28.99 so it was definitely a good bargain! I toyed with buying the smaller pot which was half the size Incase I didn't like it, but then decided if I love it I will wish I had bought the bigger pot. So that's what I done.

Of course this powder has been hyped up also because it is said that Kim kardashian loves to use this. And we all know how fab her contour and highlighting is.

The powder is super fine and on application feels really lightweight. I've mainly only used it underneath my eyes to help brighten them which I think it does really well. I will just pour a little out into the lid, swish my brush around, tap off any excess then apply. Because it is such a fine powder it doesn't go cakey like some powders do on me so that was an added bonus. I could literally put it on in the morning and not worry about it moving all day long.

I would definitely say if you find powders tend to sit in any lines you may have under your eyes or look cakey the banana powder is worth a go. The price may seem a lot to however you get soooo much and use so little at a time.
There is only one bad point to make about this powder and that's the pouring of it. The holes are quite big and because of the texture of the powder it comes out so quickly and is hard to then put back.

Babyliss Curl Secret

Hi Guys

This morning I actually had time to spend on my hair, instead of quickly blasting it dry and not doing a lot with it.
It was my sisters birthday party at the weekend and I had curled her hair using her new babyliss curl secret and I was super amazed at how quick and easy it was to use. And she conveniently left it here so it would be rude not to borrow it! Haha.
My sister is one that always struggles with curling her hair on her own but with this she has no problems.
So here's what it looks like..

It has 2 heat settings and 3 time settings to help you create different curls, with a ceramic barrel. And like I said before it's simple to use. You literally just grab a strand of hair (not too thick), clamp it inbetween and as you clamped down it automatically draws in the piece of hair round the barrel. Then it will start beeping at you depending on what settings you have it on, and when it's ready to be released you will hear a few constant beeps. And then ta dah you have the perfect curl. The Babyliss Curl Secret retails at around £119 depending where you buy it from and it is a lovely purple colour.
Below are 2 pictures of me once I had curled my whole head, and then after I had run my hands through the curls and styled them.

It's quick, simple and can give you instant curls in very few minutes. Worth a purchase in my eyes!

Makeup brush storage

Hi Guys

What do we think of this cute trio of pots?

I found this bargain in Tescos! It cost me just £1.75!! I am always on the look out for cute pots and anything else I can use for storage.
These are actually pots for plants but I decided it would make a super cute brush holder! And I think it's perfect! Excuse the fact that some of my brushes aren't clean (this is my next job lol).
There was also a quad of pots in either orange or yellow too which I nearly picked up but thought 3 pots in a row was cuter!

Dinner time!

Hi Guys

So how monotamous is making dinner every evening? Anyone else ever feel like they just can't be bothered sometimes!
I know I do! Especially when your trying to think of something different. I find I'm someone who gets stuck in a bit of a cycle now and then and feel the need break out! Haha!
Half of it also is sometimes having the time to make these lovely dinners. When your home late from work I find I just want something quick and easy to do! And I have found the solution for me!
The Maggie So Juicy sachets are just brilliant! They make a tea time much less boring and soooo much easier!
For anyone who has never tried one of these and have no idea what I'm talking about I will explain what they are. You literally buy one sachet, which contains a cooking bag in the top half and the bottom half contains the spice mix. On the front of the sachet it will tell you what you need, so for example tonight we had smokey BBQ ribs so all I needed to purchase was the ribs. You then put everything in the bag, sprinkle over the spice mix tie up the bag, give it a shake around to coat everything and put it in the oven for however long it needs! And that's it. They come out perfect everytime! The best thing about these, is that no matter what meat you put in them, it always always comes out so succulent and juicy as the name suggests! Nothing ever dries out!
They have a huge range of different dishes. One I can definitely recommend is the chicken balti. (As long as you don't mind a little spice). It's sooo yummy! One of mine and my other halts faves!
All I will say is if you haven't tried them yet, you must! :-)

Sunday review day - MUA blushers

Hi Guys

Today's review is as my title says above, in MUA blushers!
These blushers are amazing! AND they are only £1! It still amazes me to know how cheap these little beauties are and how bloody good they are!
You would normally just persume that a £1 blusher would maybe just be ok, and not be very pigmented! But you'd be wrong! They are so pigmented and a little goes a long way! They blend out on your cheeks really nicely too!
I would say everything you want in a blusher is what you can get in these £1 stars!
My favourite colours at the moment are Lolly which is a beautiful coral peach colour, and Cupcake which is a muted pinky peach!
They also do some cream blushers which I am yet to try but will definitely be purchasing!
Here's a picture of my fave blusher!

Sunday review day!

Hi Guys!

Today I am reviewing the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation!
I've been using this on and off for the last few months, due to loving it one moment and not the next!
But my overall thought now is definitely a thumbs up! Especially in this hot weather were having at the moment. It just wears really well and lasts all day long! I've found it keeps my skin looking matte all day too which I think is down to being oil free. And it has a SPF of 25 which is another great benefit for the summer!
The coverage is a medium coverage which is also nice for this time of year as sometimes you just don't want that heavy full coverage look and feel that you can get with some foundations!
As you can see below they have a great colour range. My colour is Champagne (cheers to me) which is perfect for me whilst I have a tan! This one is very yellow based which is also great for me! But like I say there range is big so everyone could find their correct shade!
The price of this foundation is £26.50 so it's not the cheapest. But if your interested in getting this and trying it out I would definitely suggest going somewhere where they have someone on the counter so they can advise you on the correct colour to get, as you don't want to waste £26.50 on the wrong the shade!

Clean eating

Hi Guys!
Ok so here's my attempt to shed few pounds. Clean eating! I've got a few friends mad on it and one has been giving me advice and telling me the good things to eat and what to avoid! Basically step away from processes foods!
I even ventured to the gym not sure if my gym card would still work! (Yes it's been that long). But I done a work out and kinda enjoyed it, even though it was hard work being my first time back in a while.
Anyway I will try keep updates on here letting you all know if it's working, how I'm feeling and what I'm eating! Talking of good here's today's lunch!
Chicken salad. Seasoned with a Schwartz perfect shake seasoning for chicken!
Let me know if your clean eating and how your doing. Also give me meal ideas! I get a little stuck in a rut sometimes and get bored because I'm eating the same thing all the time!

Jimmy's Farm

Hi Guys!

I had such a lovely day yesterday with my best friend and my godson! We went to a local farm near us and had lots of fun!

So thought I'd show you a few pictures from my day!

You can't beat a day at a farm.. Although we did start getting a little freaked out as the biggest peacock you've ever seen stalked us whilst we had lunch!
But it was sooo pretty!

There was a butterfly room, which OMG was so hot and muggy I thought I might actually die! Just felt like I couldn't breathe! However I have never seen such pretty butterflies. And unfortunately I couldn't get a good pic.

Here's a few more pics from today!
I absolutely loved this pig! He was so cute!

Drug Store Brow Products

Hi Guys!

I've been on the look for the perfect brow products that I like to use, that suits me and how I like my brows to look.

Over the last few months I've been trying powders, pencils and gels.

I started really liking the Rimmel brow pencil ⬇️
As much as I was enjoying using it and the look it gave me, the 'spoolie' brush which is nothing like a spoolie is awful. The pencil itself isn't too hard, nor too soft. I know people say that the harder the pencil the better the longevity is, and vice versa if the pencils too soft it will just wear off quicker. But I find it difficult to use them if there too hard. I was using the dark brown one, which isn't really that dark, however I did want to try the hazel colour but every single time I went to buy one no where ever had them!

Next I've recently been enjoying using the E.L.F brow kit ⬇️
I have mine in light and when I first opened it and looked at it I was a bit 'meh'! They gel looked great, but the the look of the powder wasn't what I thought it would be and I was very optimistic on how it would actually look.
I ideally wanted the light gel, but the medium powder from looking at them online.
However, both the gel and powder have been awesome. The powder comes out darker than I thought it would, and is lovely to use. Not chalky at all.
You can easily use the gel or the powder on their own, but I am tending to use them together. I will use the gel to line the bottom of my brow, then the powder to fill in the rest.moor me at the moment this is my favourite brow product.

In saying that I still really want to try the soap and glory Brow Archery. ⬇️
I've heard so many good review on this as it has a pencil one end and a felt pen liner the other, which apparently you can make fine lines with that will look like real brow hairs. But again similar to me finding the hazel pencil, every time I go in to boots it's out of stock.
This tells me it must be good!

Any other brow products you think I should try, (drugstore or high end) let me know in the comments below!

Half way!!

Hi Guys!

How crazy is it that we are half way through the year today! Where has 6 months gone!
It will be Christmas before we know it!! And as much as I don't want to think about it, I suddenly found myself thinking.."ooh might start thinking about what to get people". NO LAURA snap out of that one, it's far too early!
So instead I browsed the internet and found a few items I may purchase in the future! I'm absolutely loving the whole kimono trend and I'm on the look out for one or two! I found these on the New Look website which are fairly gorge so I may just have to add these to my basket!
What do we think about these two! I love the tassels but I thought the crocheted hem on the coral one was soooo pretty and girly. Let me know in the comments which one you like?!

I think life would just be sooo much easier if we all had personal stylists!! Haha.. No stress of what to wear when we go out lol.
Dream on hey.

New series and giving blood!

Hi Guys!

Sooo as I have mentioned on twitter and instagram a few weeks ago I am starting a new series on my channel which I am finally ready to start.
The series is going to be all about nails! As you may or may not know my full time job is a Nail Technician. So I thought I would share with all you nail lovers out there how I work. I will be showing you how to do acrylics, how to do gel polish and also a lot of nail art tutorials. I will love to hear if you have any ideas or would like to see any specific videos regarding nails!
It will be starting this week so keep an eye out on my channel. I'm still not 100% sure what day it will be starting yet, but it will be the same day every week so you will know when to expect a new video. Also I'm not sure how long this series will last, I will just see how it goes and get your feedback to see if your enjoying it!
Here's a look at what nail art tutorials will be coming. Flowers and hearts. (Please note it won't be these exact nails).

In other news today I've done my good deed and given blood! I always get anxious when I go even though everytime I've given, I haven't had any problems, I just fear I'm going to pass out or something like that. I think it's just part of my anxiety that luckily I've learnt to deal with over the years!
As nervous as I get every time I go, I still think the worst part is peeling this blooming plaster off! It hurts!! Lol good job it's only once every 4months.

Revealed 2 Palette

Hi Guys!
I'm super excited to show you this today! I ordered this about a month ago and had almost forgot all about it!
This palette is from Coastel Scents who I hadn't heard about until I saw Shonagh Scott's video on a look she done using this palette. As soon as I saw it I was like ' I need that in my life' and here it is!
So I am going to be showing you the swatches from this 20 colour palette.
Here's how the palette looks. The packaging is sleek and very travel friendly. Does the top row remind you of another palette?? Yes it's a dupe for the naked 3 which I have been dying to try.
And here are all 20 swatches.
I also received a free sample of shadows which I was excited about as the colours were gorgeous.
I'm not sure why the sample ones have names and the palette ones don't. I would love it if it did, not that it affects the gorgeous colours :-).
The palette cost $19.95 and shipping was around $15 which in total works out to roughly £21. Obviously if your in the states it makes it a very reasonable priced palette.
I will be doing some looks with this on my channel so keep an eye out! :-)

Bye for now xxx

Review time and chit chat!!!

Hi Guys!
So today I am reviewing the Bourjois Happy Light Serum Primer!
All I can say is if you haven't tried it yet, then it is definitely worth a purchase. It costs £10.99 which is by no means the most expensive and not the cheapest either. It's a fab middle of the road product that does what it says on the tin.
This serum primer comes in 2 different types, one is luminous for dry to normal skin and the one I got was matte for normal to combination skin. I just absolutely love products that are made for all skin types, as we all know there's not one products that does it all! This serum hasn't broke me out in blemishes either which is a bonus. They both give your skin that natural glow were all secretly looking for. I originally worried that being combination skin it might make me look shiny in a bad way but it doesn't. I have also found that it really does keep my face looking and feeling matte all day. No need to top up with some powder during the afternoon. (Another bonus).
Because it is a mixture of a serum and a primer it is a lovely texture. It doesn't have that silicone feel like some primers do. It feels a mixture between a gel and a cream. It soaks into the skin really quickly so you do need to rub it in fast. I tend to use just 2 pumps and this does my chin, nose and forehead area nicely. I love that it soaks in as it doesn't feel like it's clogging up your skin. It has a totally lightweight feel like you haven't got anything on your skin. There's nothing worse than applying a product that feels heavy on the face.
You can also get the Happy Light foundation which I am yet to try. So after using this product il definitely be trying that too!
So my advice is to definitely give it a go if your currently looking in to trying a new primer!

So in other news I'm getting really excited for IMATS!!! Not long now! Who else is going?? My friend and I have never been before so that is making it even more exciting for us!
This blog as you may have noticed after my last one is a day late but I had internet trouble yesterday so I couldn't publish my blog! But have no fear it's all good today!!

Summer sun!

Hi Guys!
The summer is finally upon us!! Wahoo!
So I have been a little bit quiet here on my blog lately but my work has just been super busy! The sun makes everyone want their toes gelled so they look gorgeous in flipflops and of course this time of year brings holidays, proms and weddings!
And if I haven't been working I've been filming for my youtube channel which I  absolutely love doing! If you haven't checked out my channel then just search Laura Sage on youtube and you should find me! :-) For those who haven't visited my channel, it consists of shopping hauls of beauty, clothes and anything else I've picked up, makeup get ready with me's, some tag videos which are always fun to do and product reviews. I have a new series of videos starting soon on my channel that I've been working on, which will be to do with my day time job! All will be revealed soon!
I have enjoyed the sun as much as possible lately and last Sunday I spent the day on my dads boat! And I really don't think there's a better way to spend a sunny Sunday! We launch at a local marina and tend to just trundle around. My dads friends also have boats and at lunch time we moor up to a boy in the middle of the river and have a picnic whilst bobbing around catching the rays! Sometimes in the afternoons the boys will 'attempt' some water sports which can be highly amusing (and of course is always caught on camera). They wakeboard, knee board, water ski or go on a donut! Apparently my dad holds the championship for no one being able to tip him off lol!
Fingers crossed Sundays stay nice now so we can launch more often!
What have all you been up to in this gorgeous weather??
Hopefully from now I'll be cable to find time to do regular blogs for you. I have a few review items I am going to be doing. So they will be up soon! I think I am going to aim to put up a blog every Sunday evening!
So I hope you have enjoyed this little chatty catch up post! And I will speak to you all soon!
Thanks for reading!

I thought I'd add a pic from sunday for you.

Real Techniques Makeup Brushes

Hi Guys

If you haven't tried these brushes yet, why not? They are amazing brushes. There a brilliant drugstore makeup brush with a high end feel to them!
Makeup is so easily blended with these, it makes applying your makeup completely effortless.
I don't know exactly how many different drugstores you can buy these in but I have found them in Boots, Superdrug and Asda.
I first bought the starter set which included 5 brushes in there own little holder which is very sleek. It includes the following brushes:
                                            Base shadow brush
Deluxe crease brush
Accent brush
Fine liner brush
Brow brush
I then bought the core collection which again were in there own little holder and contained 4 brushes which were:
Detailer brush
Pointed foundation brush
Buffing brush
Contour brush
Since starting with these brushes and loving them I've since brought there version of the beauty blender sponge which they call the Miracle Complexion Sponge. I've never been sure on these sponges but now I've used it quite a bit I love it. Especially for buffing in concealer.
I also picked up the Powder brush, Blusher brush, Stippling brush and the Expert Face brush.
All if the brushes including the sponge wash really well, and I've found they dry a lot quicker then some of my other brushes which is a bonus.
If your new to makeup these would be the ideal first set of brushes to purchase. The singly sold brushes range from £8.99-£12.99, the sponge is £5.99 and the two sets are £21.99. (These are the prices in boots, other places will vary)
There are other brushes on the collection too which I haven't got yet but hopefully I will do in the future. :-)

NYX Lip Products

Hi Guys!

Hope your all enjoying another bank holiday weekend!
I'm sitting in on this beautiful day wondering what to do. So as you do, I thought I'd give you a review on some of my NYX lip products I've been trying over the last month. And I have to say I'm loving them.
I got the NYX Matte Lipstick in Indie Flick. Which is a lovely bright burnt orange colour. Perfect summer colour, and also a perfect pick me up colour. It's one of those colours that you can put on when you feel like you need a little pick me up!
Here's me wearing it! As you can see it really can brighten up any outfit. I've never really had matte lipsticks before but after using this one I'm totally converted. It's super moisturising, has fab pigmentation and lasts for ages! And best bit is that there only £6.

The other lip products I've been LOVING are the Xtreme Lip Creams. They say that it's not a lipstick, or a gloss, it's a mix of the two. They have fab pigmentation, and again are really creamy and moisturising, and last really well. I've got two of them in the colours Candy Land and Natural.

These are priced at £7 each. And in my opinion worth every penny. I just love that you still get a gloss feeling, but colour that lasts.

Bye for now
