Supermarket Bargains!!

Hi Guys!!

Why is it that when you just 'pop' into the supermarket for a few bits and pieces you always end up spending way more than planned!!!
I'm talking about asda. This supermarket is by far the worst! It's not my normal supermarket as it's the other end of town to me so I should really know that when I go there I should expect to spend extra! They have sooo many pretty clothes in at the moment for spring/summer. So many bright colours! Of course you have to have a little browse round. I must have taken at least 6 items into the changing room to try on. Then comes the tricky part. Deciding what you really like or what you really need! I ended up just buying 2 items. Neither I needed, but they were just so pretty.
I got a really pretty pink netted top with hearts on that's is super soft material. And the best thing it was only £8! I really don't think you can beat the quality of  the items in there for how much you pay! I also picked up a crocheted waistcoat type piece that was just cream, with tassels hanging round the bottom. Really pretty and was just an item I knew I was buying as soon as I saw them! This was £14.

Now as I've said before if I'm somewhere that sells any kind of makeup I have to have a look. I did only buy two eye liners though so was quite reserved for me! Lol. I got them both from the Rimmel counter. One was the Scandaleyes nude liner which I had been meaning to pick up for ages as it really brightens and makes your eyes look bigger! Then I picked up what they call exaggerate liner in aqua sparkle, and it is a really bright Aqua blue. Great liner to add a pop of colour to a natural look. It also comes with a smudger on the end too which is always handy. I'm loving them both so much already! And they were only £3.99!

Review on Soap and Glory's Body Milk

Hi Guys

So I've been using Soap and Glory's Body Milk moisturiser for a few weeks now! And oh my goodness I am in love! As I've said before anything beauty related excites me, but when I find a product that works really well and is a fab price that makes me even happier!
I still haven't decided what the smell reminds me of, it's kind of like biscuits or something. It's definitely a smell I've smelt before. No doubt it will eventually come to me at the most random time!
It's got a lovely consistency and I love that the bottle has a pump. So many moisturisers are just squeezy bottles and they always really annoy me. You end up with cream all over the bottle, well I do anyway. I think pumps are so much cleaner and easier to use!
The best thing about this moisturiser is that it lasts so well on your skin as well as making it super soft. I can literally use it in the morning and by late afternoon I can still smell it on my skin. I have also really noticed a difference in my skin too. Normally my legs are really dry and even after using a moisturiser, that evening they can feel and look dry again. But with this one my skin is still soft and fresh looking a few days later.
It's a 500ml bottle, I'm not sure if it comes in any smaller sizes. It cost me £10 from boots, which some people may think is on the pricier side for a moisturiser, however a little goes a long way so it will last you ages! So definitely worth buying if you ask me!

Hope this was helpful for anyone wanting to try this.

Easter holidays!

Hi Guys!

Hope you all had an absolutely fab Easter bank holiday weekends! I did, but blimey how fast did the 4 days go?
I seemed to fit a lot into just a few days, so that's probably why it seemed to go soooo quickly. On Good Friday I had a little pamper from my friend Hannah, and got my nails done. All pink, girly and springy. I'll put a pic up of them as I love them, with little Daisy's on etc. It's definitely the small things in life that excite me! Nice nails, makeup, beauty products! Haha!

These next ones were what I done for Hannah!

I then chilled for a couple hours in the afternoon which was lovely as works been super busy now the weathers getting better. That evening I went to a local bar, as there was a really good, popular band playing. There called Ska'd For Life, and do ska music and a lot of madness! All the type of music that everyone knows! I think half the town must have been in there that night! It was ridiculously busy! But always makes for a fab atmosphere don't you think? Tad annoying when you wait like 30mins at the bar though!
Saturday morning I had to work. Only done a couple of Gellux manicures so they don't take too long, so i didn't have to work for long. Every Saturday
afternoon my auntie, cousins and grandma all pile round my mums for a cuppa and a piece of cake. (Grandmas baking is just the best!) I do love these couple of hours! We're all so close which I also love. So many family's don't spend much time with there cousins and aunties etc which I think is so sad as I've had some of the best times with them. My cousins are definitely like my best friends! We're all so similar in humour that it is always just so funny!
Saturday was also my mums birthday, so that evening 10 of us went out for a meal to a Turkish restaurant in town. None of us had been there before so we were all intrigued to see what it was like. It was absolutely delicious! Apparently on Friday evenings they sometimes have belly dancers too and we were disappointed they didn't have any on Saturday. Although we kind of did, as my dad decided to get up and put ona belly dancing belt that was hanging over a vase and gave the restaurant a mini show! Of course I filmed it on my phone!! My goodness what would we do without our phones now a days! Always good for bribary! Lol
Easter Sunday was here but unfortunately the Easter bunny didn't visit me! :-(! Although I really didn't miss it, I had plenty else to eat that weekend! We spent time at my partners parents in the afternoon and then went to my mums for roast lamb! You just can't beat mums home cooked roast dinners can you! It was soooo good! I'm sure I could actually eat a roast every day! I did walk my pooch afterwards as I was so full, I felt the need to walk it off a bit lol.
Last day of the weekend saw me getting up stupidly early as we went to a big carboot sale. Luckily it was really lovely weather walking round, even though we didn't buy anything. Later that day we went to the local seaside which was really really busy due to the good weather, and we had fish and chips whilst we were there! Why does chips by the sea always taste so much better!?

Anyways hope you enjoyed reading this, and hearing about what I got up to!

Revlon Colour Stay Foundation

Hi Guys!

Ok... So I have only actually had this Revlon foundation for 2 weeks now. But I feel I've definitely used it enough to do a review on it it already!
Main reason being I cannot get enough of it. I've been using it every single day. I absolutely LOVE IT!

I'd wanted a Revlon foundation for a while as I hadn't ever tried any of them before and had heard such great things about them.
I was really torn between getting the PhotoReady one or the Colour Stay one. I then noticed that the Colour Stay ones had a choice of 2, between normal/dry skin and combination/oily skin. I've never noticed foundations to actually tell you what skin type there best for on the bottles. So having slightly oily skin I choose the Colour Stay foundation for combination/oily skin.
The shade I got was Buff 150.

The texture of this foundation is so smooth and creamy. I've sometimes found with this type of foundation where there's no pump, that they can be a little runny but this one isn't. It's a perfect consistency.
I dot it all over my face then use a buffing brush to buff it into my skin. I've found this type of brush is perfect for it so I haven't tried any other types. The other great thing about it, is that it works into the skin so easily and quickly. You really don't have to spend ages buffing it into the skin like some other foundations I've used.
As you can see from the picture it also says 24hrs. I'm always sceptical when foundations tells you it lasts all day as I've never found any that do.
Until now! This really does last all day! I'm normally one for freshening up my makeup in the evening if I'm going out or working, but I can honestly say with this foundation you really don't need to. It's so nice to have something written on the bottle that's actually true!
It costs £12.49 from Superdrug and it's worth every single penny and more in my eyes! I'm really wanting to go back and get the PhotoReady one to try too now!
So TRY it! I guarantee you will love it! :-)

Review on Bourjous Twist Up The Volume Mascara!

Hi Guys!!

Wow wow wow!!!
Can you tell I'm loving this mascara?? Lol
It is completely and utterly amazing! It's become my new favourite and I have literally only had it to use a few days. Even after the 1st use I was converted!
Now I have to admit I stood in Superdrug looking at it and it did take me quite a while to work it out. When I looked at the packaging I was convinced it was one of those Mascaras where you have the white end to use first, and then put the black over the top afterwards. But I couldn't work out how to un-do the white lid. Turns out its nothing like that type of mascara!
The white part that twists at the top actually changes the shape of the wand. One way it elongates the bristles and puts them into straight rows, and then when you twist it the other way it shortens the wand and the bristles wrap round the wand diagonally. The wand is a rubber bristled one. Here's an up close photo to show you.

If you have the wand in position 1 it adds length to your lashes! And it definitely does just that! Position 2 says it adds volume. I haven't used both together. I've always used either or. I definitely notice my lashes are not as long when I use the wand in position 2. Don't get me wrong position 2 still lengthens them well, but position 1 is just crazy long!
As I say I really haven't had this long but I'm totally converted and think that everyone should buy this! It's only £10.99 too which is not a bad price for such a great product!
