Rimmel Kate Lipsticks

Hi Guys

Yay I'm finally feeling a little more normal after being poorly to be able to write a blog for you.

Today I have purchased my first ever Kate lipsticks by Rimmel.

Whatttt??? I hear you say. I've just recently been wearing lipstick more often, which I have really enjoyed. It really does make a difference to the whole look. But usually I'd just concentrate on my eyes.

I've been wanting to get a little more colour in my life makeup wise and wardrobe wise. (Thats getting there gradually lol).

So the two shades I picked up were 28 and 35. Please do leave a comment if these lipsticks have names and not just numbers. I feel like I'm completely being dumb and missing them.

I bought these without seeing testers as there weren't any out for these colours, but the ends with the shades on looked super pretty so I thought I would risk it and buy them. The other bonus point about these were that they were on offer! Bargain. (Although as I then realised you only saved 50p. But still 1 whole pound I saved Haha).

Top is 28, bottom is 35.

After swatching them I have just fell in love with the colours. They are perfect for summer. I feel I will be wearing these two alot as you will probably notice on instagram. (Lauraasage is my user name if you dont follow me already!)

Feeling poorly!

Hi Guys

Was so hoping to get a new blog up today but some rotten person has given me germs! Wahh!

All started with that horrible sore throat yesterday which luckily has nearly gone today! But the aches and snot have come to visit! Pj day, no makeup and lots of cold and flu tablets for me!

Hoping to feel more human tomorrow and get a new blog up for you!

Benefit Porefessional "dupe"

Hi Guys

This product for me is an oldie but definitely a goodie. 

I've recently re-kindled my love for this product after trying out other primers. But none have been as good. We all know MUA is a very reasonably priced product and this primer is no exception at just £4.00. 

For me I would say this is a good dupe for Benefits Porefessional, which I do love using but I don't love the price at £24.50.

The texture and colour of the MUA primer is exactly the same as Benefits and the feel of it on my skin is identical. The only difference is the smell, MUA doesn't really have a smell and Porefessional smells a bit citrusy. I really think if I was blindfolded and each of these were put on to my hand for me to use, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. 

I will definitely re-purchase this primer over and over again and give it 10/10.

Top 5 - Slimming World Meals

Hi Guys

As some of you may know, I'm currently on my slimming world journey! I thought I would share with you my top 5 favourite meals I eat on the diet.

1. CHILLI & JACKET POTATO. This meal is totally syn free so you can eat as much as you want. A great meal for when your having a hungry day.

2. HOME MADE BURGERS. Fab meal for feeling like your having a naughty meal. You can use your HEB on a small roll and HEA on a cheese slice.

3. GRILL UP. Again another great meal that makes you feel like your not on a diet. Make your normal fry up but grill everything. I use frylight to get my eggs. If you want sausages slimming world now do syn free sausages but I use Sainsbury's reduced fat sausages at just 1.5 syns as they taste just like normal sausages. (Even my partner hasn't noticed haha!)

4. SPAGHETTI BOLOGNASE. This is my all time favourite meal so I am Sooo glad I can still eat it. Linking world have a syn free version but i make it how I've always made it so mine is 3 syns as I use gravy granules for sauce. Then I can use my HEA for cheese. (Because it's criminal not to have cheese on top right?)

5. STEAK & CHIPS. For that weekend treat meal steak is fab. As long as the steak is lean and your chips are home made your good to go for a syn free dinner. I serve mine with baked beans usually as beans are a speed food. But you can have the full works with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes too.

Review - Maybelline Brow Satin

Wow wow wow! I love this product so much already and I've only used it a handful of times!

This is apparently a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz, however I have never tried the Anastasia one so I can't completely compare! It's just what I have heard from other youtubers which was the reason for my newest purchase!

Recently I had been using an eyeshadow from the Makeup Revolution pro 2 palette to fill in my brows, but as you can see from the picture below the brow satin gives a much more natural look to the brow.

The shade I bought was medium brown which you would think might be a tad too dark for me but it's absolutely the perfect shade. As I swatched them in Boots they seemed to come up quite light.

It does have a powder smudger on the opposite end but this is what lets it down. I don't really find it useful at all. Whereas the pencil end is quite small so great for detailing natural hairs!

The price of this is £5.99 so a great price too.

This is definitely going to be a holy grail product for me now!
