If you don't follow my YouTube channel (why not? Haha) you may not know that I started slimming world 5 weeks ago.
I tried slimming world out about a year ago and just couldn't get on with it. I had always been a weight watchers kinda girl. I think you find people fave our one or the other! I loved weight watchers because I'm generally quite a picky person. I will nibble and pick at things instead of eating properly.
However my cousins decided that they were going to join a group, and as I'd struggled so much recently I thought "yes" I need to join with them. There's nothing like having a complete stranger weighing you. That always has been the best way to diet for me. It gives me that panic of "oh my god, I need to stick to this. How embarrassing would it be going to get weighed and putting on instead of losing!" So this is what I done!
My sister also joined aswell and having 4 of us do it together is definitely a brilliant way of sticking to it. Not only have we got started a whatsapp group to keep each other motivated, but it's great to be able to find and share recipes with each other.
This time round also, is the first time I've been staying to group. I'm still not 100% that I will carry on doing this as I don't particularly find it useful. I just like to go get weighed and go home. I know a lot of people including my cousins find it useful to stay (and they admitted they like to be nosey and see what others have lost/gained).

Here's how I'm doing so far:
Week 1 - lost 5.5lbs
Week 2 - lost 2lbs
Week 3 - gained 1.5lbs
Week 4 - stayed same
Week 5 - lost 2lbs
Total so far - 8.5lbs
