My Top 5: YouTubers

Hi Guys!

I thought I would share with you my top 5 favourite youtubers! 

And if any of you aren't already subscribed to them then you jolly well should be! 

I will just mention that the videos I watch are mainly beauty/makeup, so there they type of youtubers I will be talking about!

I'm not going to include youtubers such as Tanya Burr, Shannon from shaaanxo, or Nicole Guerriero, because as much as I love watching them and their fantastic videos, I'm just wanting to speak about YouTubers who are brilliant but may not have a million subbies like those mentioned above! So more like the underdogs if that didn't sound rude! Haha! Oh I know what I mean!

1. Rosanna Pierce - I've only recently started watching her videos and she was recommended to me from Kelly Michelle (also on YouTube and is a lovely lady). Rosanna's makeup is absolutely gorgeous! Along side beautiful makeup she does hauls and reviews of different products.

2. It's Em - I love love love watching Emma's videos! She does alot of vlogs which are my favourites (I think it's because I'm nosey). The other thing I love about Emma's channel (being plus size myself) she's does a lot of plus size fashion! Making everyone realise you can look fab whatever size you are!

3. Beauty is Ageless - Another very talented makeup youtuber! She is gorgeous and I just love all her videos! She will also do hauls, ootd's and tags. She makes makeup look effortless!

4. Holly Sheeran - Her channel involves alot of makeup, hauls, chatty videos and tags. I love watching her because she's always so bubbly and lively and literally can make you feel happier after watching a video!

5. Faye's Fix - Again another fab vlogger. I just love watching what she and her partner get up to. Faye also does makeup, fashion and even baking from time to time. She's just beautiful and her channel is one you should definitely go and check out!

So there you have it! My top 5 YouTube channels.

Shopping troubles!

Hi Guys!

I just have an issue with going into primark! Maybe I should just stay away! I'd definitely save money if I did! Haha!

I went in there last week as i wanted to pick up a couple of their strap tops. (There just so handy to wear everyday under tops!) 

Anyway... So in theory all I should have spent is £3.60! Yes the tops are just £1.80! Crazyyy! Although primark, I'm not all that happy with them these days! Anyone else think they have got super thin?? Obviously why there cheaper now. 

Again back to story! 

I ended up spending £30 or something! Which fair enough isn't loads, but it's still a lot more than I originally set out to spend! I bought 3 pairs of shoes and a few other bits! I just can't help myself! Soon as I walk in that place it sucks me in to all the bargains and I just can't help myself!

Please tell your all like this too?? Anyone?? Haha!

Today it happend again! (Doh). 

I actually went to take back one if my pairs of shoes as the stitching was coming undone.

So instead of just exchanging them, (admittedly they didn't have the same pair in my size, bad times!) I found a similar pair AND 2 others I thought I'd buy! Plus 2 hand bandos! Oh yea and a slouchy best top! 

Damn you primark and your lovely bargains!

So here is my first makeup of the day. I will leave a list of products I used underneath.mi will say you will see the Makeup Revolution palette used all of this week, as I'm doing a video where I use it every day to show you the different looks you can achieve with the palette.

Makeup Of The Day!

Hi Guys!

So I've been thinking of different things I can do with my blog and I have decided to (try) and blog my makeup every day! 

This may not seem like much of a challenge, however I do have a memory of a sieve and would be more than likely to forget to take a picture of my makeup in the mornings lol. 

Any how... This is my plan. They obviously won't be very long blogs. I will just put up a picture with details of what I'm wearing and possible where I'm going etc. so some days they may be a couple of makeup photos, more than likely on the weekends. If I'm going out in the evenings I will always re-do my makeup.

So this will start tomorrow being Tuesday the 24th. :-)

Any other ideas you'd like to see on my blog please leave a comment below. All ideas consided.

My Slimming World Story So Far.....

If you don't follow my YouTube channel (why not? Haha) you may not know that I started slimming world 5 weeks ago.

I tried slimming world out about a year ago and just couldn't get on with it. I had always been a weight watchers kinda girl. I think you find people fave our one or the other! I loved weight watchers because I'm generally quite a picky person. I will nibble and pick at things instead of eating properly. 

However my cousins decided that they were going to join a group, and as I'd struggled so much recently I thought "yes" I need to join with them. There's nothing like having a complete stranger weighing you. That always has been the best way to diet for me. It gives me that panic of "oh my god, I need to stick to this. How embarrassing would it be going to get weighed and putting on instead of losing!" So this is what I done!

My sister also joined aswell and having 4 of us do it together is definitely a brilliant way of sticking to it. Not only have we got started a whatsapp group to keep each other motivated, but it's great to be able to find and share recipes with each other. 

This time round also, is the first time I've been staying to group. I'm still not 100% that I will carry on doing this as I don't particularly find it useful. I just like to go get weighed and go home. I know a lot of people including my cousins find it useful to stay (and they admitted they like to be nosey and see what others have lost/gained).

I weigh in on a Monday night and either Tuesday or Wednesday I upload a video to my YouTube channel letting you all know how I get on. So if you want to keep up to date with how I'm doing then go subscribe. Here's my channel link.. www.youtube.com/LauraBeautify 

Here's how I'm doing so far:

Week 1 - lost 5.5lbs

Week 2 - lost 2lbs

Week 3 - gained 1.5lbs

Week 4 - stayed same

Week 5 - lost 2lbs

Total so far - 8.5lbs

Origins Clear improvement mask

Hi Guys!

I've had my eyes on this beauty for a while now and since I got given a John Lewis voucher for Christmas I thought I would treat myself.

This little beauty costs £23 for 100ml which isn't too bad as from my first use of it, you don't need too much at one time, so it will last well.

It has active charcoal in it which acts like a magnet to draw out deep dwelling pore cloggers. And also white china clay absorbs environmental toxins whilst lecithin dissolves impurities (Not that I know what lecithin is!)

I will be intrigued to see if this makes me a little more spotty than usual whilst it's getting rid of all the rubbish in my skin. I will update you on that if it does!

What I have done for a first impression of this is take my before and after picture and also my during which I will insert now. We all love good face mask selfie! Haha!

After literally the first few minutes you can feel your skin completely tighten up as its drying. In all honestly I'm not sure how long your suppose to leave it on, as it just says until it dries. I left it for 10 minutes. Anyone else who has used this and knows please let me know! 

 

So here's my before and after obviously the before is on the left. And I stood in the same place in the bathroom to make sure it was same light etc. One thing I will say is because it really dries on your skin it does take a bit of rubbin to remove it, but I just used face mask sponges and warm water.

 I have to say my skin feels absolutely amazing! I definitely think you can can notice a slight difference in my skin looking brighter. Like I say it will be interesting to see if I have any blemishes appear over the next few days!
