Review on 3 Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascaras!

Hi Guys!!

So here is my first review for you all.
As it says above I've been trying these 3 Rimmel Mascaras. I've recently been looking for new drug store Mascaras to use. I came across these ones and ended up with 3 as they had a 3for2 offer on. And if you've read my last blog you'll all know I love a bargain!

Firstly these Mascaras were a good price at just £6.99 each.
From left to right I got the Scandaleyes Show Off, Volume Flash & Rockin' Curves.

Scandaleyes Show Off
This wand is a rubber one which is the type of wand I prefer to use for my own lashes. And like other wands this material, it really lengthened and volumised my lashes. The odd shape is actually really good as the little bobble on the end really grabs those shorter lashes on the inside corners. Loved it!

Scandaleyes Volume Flash
This wand is your typically shaped bristle brush. Although it is quite large. I've used similar wands like this on before and had liked using them. But this one was not so good for me! I just didn't feel the wand grabbing my lashes to lengthen them as much as they could be. I also found there was no volume and although not clumpy as such the lashes weren't individually separated. So overall a little disappointing.

Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves
Again this is a bristle brush wand. And as you can see has this curved shape. I felt by looking at it that it could be great for volumising. But although better than the volume flash wand I still was disappointed. Then length was there though.

Overall I would only re-purchase the Show Off mascara purely due to the type of wand it has. I'm not saying the other 2 Mascaras are no good but for me they didn't do what I wanted them too. I think it's down to me having used the rubber wands for so long, bristles just don't stand up to the test.

I hope this review has been helpful. Please leave a comment if it has!

Bye for now

Impromptu Superdrug Haul!!

Hi Guys!!!

So today I've had a little shop in Superdrug and bought so many beauty related items! (And spent a little more than I thought.) I'm starting to think I have a problem!! Just can't help myself buying something beauty related when in certain shops! Lol
Maybe I just should have avoided Superdrug. I'm a bit like a kid in a sweetie shop when I'm surrounded by hair, beauty and makeup items! I did get a couple of items that were in buy one get one free and spend £12 and get an item free, so that always makes me feel better knowing I've saved a few pound! Lol

So here's a list of everything I brought in Superdrug. There's a few items that I'm excited to try and I will do a review for you all!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation
Maybelline Age Defying concealer
Bourjois Bronzer (The one that looks like a bar of chocolate)
Bourjois Twist up the Volume Mascara
Bourjois Little round eyeshadow (can't remember what colour, sorry)
Simple eye revitaliser roll on
MUA Blushers in Candyfloss and Marshmallow (These were only £1 too!! That's a bargain!)
MUA Undress me 2 palette
2 strawberry and Raspberry shower gels
Colgate toothpaste
Sanex Deodorant

The last few items were essentials so I feel like I've spent less extra money as there items I would have bought anyway!
Am I just trying to make myself feel better for spending money or what!!! Ahaha!

Never mind hey.. I still feel I got a lot for my money! And like I said earlier I will review some products soon once I've used them.
In the mean time I do have some other products I can do a review on for you all! :-)

Bye for now

First ever blog!!!

Hiiii guys!!

So I'm super excited right now... I've decided to become a blogger. (I must sound so sad lol but I'm afraid little things excite me :-)!)
I've read lots of other peoples blogs and love having an insight to people's lives! I thought to myself that I would love to do it too but thought that I would have absolutely no idea what to write. However I've recently become a youtuber too and I am absolutely loving making videos for you all to watch. When I made my first video I was so surprised how easy it was to just chat away to yourself whilst being filmed. (I must admit the first video felt a little silly and was praying no one walked in on me. Lol) I will leave a link to my youtube channel for you all at the bottom! I would love for you all to check it out and subscribe.  :-) My youtube videos currently feature random tag videos, hauls and product reviews. I'm hoping to get into doing makeup tutorials too. If any of you are into youtube and have any fun ideas or anything you want to see then please let me know!

I thought that my blog here would probably be a lot of reviews on everything and anything and also just letting you in on my life! Sharing all my ups, downs and inbetweens!

Well this weekend has been so nice. Spending time with family and friends. Friday evening we were out at a meal, which is put on for all the cast and helpers of a local pantomime. I am not in the pantos (too scary) I help out backstage which is always such a laugh. So we had a nice meal and then had a race night. And I'm sad to report I didn't even win 1 race! :-(.
Saturday I worked in the morning and then felt like I spent the rest of my day in tescos!! 3 times I visited that place in just a few hours!!! Kill me now! Saturdays in supermarkets are not fun!!! However I had no choice in keep going to tescos as myself and my other half Paul were cooking for family and friends that evening, as we were having a little get together because it was Paul's birthday
midweek! He decided he wanted to cook chicken tikka masala and a chicken chow mein. It was very yummy so the 3 trips were worth it making sure we had everything.
Sunday (which is today that I'm writing my first blog) has been quite chilled. I was excited this morning to go to the local carboot sale, but was a little disappointed I found no bargains! We then visited both mums as it's Mother's Day and treated them both so some gorgeous buckets that they can grow sweet peas in! There super cute. I've had time to film 2 videos as Paul went fishing for the afternoon. And then I was good and caught up on all of my paperwork! Being self employed is great apart from that bit! Although I should learn to keep up to date throughout the year instead of leaving it all last minute! (I said this last year but, next year will be better!)

I do feel like I have rambled a bit in this first blog so I do apologise! I will hopefully get more into it in my next blog which will be a review! I will hopefully be doing a weekly review blog. Kind of like a love it or leave it blog! :-)
Hope you enjoyed this. If you have any products you'd like to see reviewed then let me know!
